(ICA) is inviting graduates or fresh graduates to apply for an internship opportunity as a Procurement &amp; Logistics Intern.<\/p>\n<p>This is an excellent opportunity to gain practical, hands-on experience in procurement and logistics within the non-profit sector, while working closely with our Procurement &amp; Logistics Manager and supporting day-to-day organizational operations.<\/p>\n<h3>Position Details<\/h3>\n<div class=\"_wdUoQG_tableFrame\" data-assistant-markdown-table=\"\" data-assistant-table=\"\">\n<div class=\"_wdUoQG_tableScroller\" data-assistant-markdown-table-scroller=\"\">\n<table>\n<thead>\n<tr>\n<th><strong>Position<\/strong><\/th>\n<th>Procurement &amp; Logistics Intern<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<\/thead>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Duty Station<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>Remote \u2014 Yangon- or Thailand-based candidates preferred; applicants from other locations are also welcome<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Duration<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>3 months<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Working Hours<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>At least 10 hours per week<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Type<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>Internship<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Reports To<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>Procurement &amp; Logistics Manager<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Application Deadline<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>September 15, 2026, or until the position is filled<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist the Procurement &amp; Logistics Manager with procurement and logistics documentation and administrative tasks.<\/li>\n<li>Support the preparation, organization, and maintenance of procurement-related records.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate and coordinate with internal teams and external parties through professional email correspondence.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and organize digital files using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Drive.<\/li>\n<li>Support procurement and logistics activities as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other duties and tasks assigned by the Procurement &amp; Logistics Manager or Project Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Requirements<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively in English and Burmese; knowledge of a Chin language is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Fresh graduate from any academic field; an interest in procurement, logistics, or supply chain management is an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with Google Drive and cloud-based file sharing.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable communicating professionally through email.<\/li>\n<li>Candidates based in Yangon or Thailand are preferred, with the ability to travel if required.<\/li>\n<li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and effectively in a flexible, remote working environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What You Will Learn<\/h2>\n<p>Through this internship, you will gain practical experience in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Procurement &amp; Purchasing:<\/strong> Procurement procedures, documentation, quotations, price comparisons, and purchasing processes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Logistics &amp; Inventory:<\/strong> Delivery coordination, inventory management, and record keeping.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Organizational Procedures:<\/strong> Internal controls, documentation, and compliance.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Professional Skills:<\/strong> Communication, coordination, teamwork, time management, and working in a professional environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>How to Apply<\/h2>\n<p>Interested candidates are invited to submit their <strong>CV and a brief cover letter<\/strong> highlighting their interest in the internship, relevant skills, and motivation to work in the non-profit sector to <strong>hr@chinaffairs.org<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Institute of Chin Affairs Inc.
