Founded by Chin diasporas living across the globe, the ICA focuses on research, human rights documentation and reporting, healthcare, education, and humanitarian programs for displaced persons from Myanmar.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our humanitarian relief efforts, ensuring effective and efficient delivery of programs and services to affected communities. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, humanitarian response, and team leadership.

Job description:
  • Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and timelines, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and humanitarian standards.
  • Supervise and mentor project staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning
  • Oversee program activities, including needs assessments, beneficiary targeting, and distribution of aid
  • Monitor progress, identify challenges, and implement corrective actions
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, coordination, and reporting
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring transparency, accountability, and compliance
  • Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and humanitarian standards
  • Travel to project sites, including border areas as required.
Qualification & Skills
  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
  • Experience in humanitarian project management, preferably with a non-profit organization, donor-funded projects and reporting requirements will be a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in team leadership, and stakeholder engagement will be a plus.
  • Strong understanding of humanitarian principles, standards, and best practices will be a plus.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Fluency in Chin, Burmese and English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including word, powerpoint and excel and google drive, google doc and google sheet.
