On June 30, at around 4pm, Salai Peter Dim Lam Sang(22) from Valung village, Falam township was killed by a landmine when he was traving on a bike between his village and Zawnglei village and his passenger Salai Van Lian Thang was seriously injured and died the next day, according to sources close to the village. The sources believe the landmine was planted by the Myanmar army troops.

The Burmese army convoy with 18 military trucks that came from Kalaymyo stayed overnight at Valung Jun 30, according to the sources.

ကလေးမြို့မှစစ်ကား ၁၈ စီးဖြင့် တက်လာသော မြန်မာစစ်တပ်ယာဉ်တန်းသည် ဗလောင်ရွာတွင် ဇွန် ၃၀ တွင် ညအိပ်ခဲ့ကြောင်း သတင်းရရှိသည်။
