A Christmas program hosted by the ICA was held at Lailun Medical Centre in Zokhawthar, Champhai District, Mizoram, on December 2, 2025, for refugee families living in the area. Around 270 people from various refugee camps in Zokhawthar village, near the Indo–Myanmar border, attended the event, which included a prayer meeting and a community dinner.

Mai Lucy Mawi, Executive Director of the ICA; Pu Lian Luai, former Chief Minister of Chin State; along with church and camp leaders, were present at the program.

During the program, Pu Lian Luai delivered a message, sharing that he and other elected Chin representatives have been taking refuge in Mizoram following the Myanmar military’s illegal coup. He expressed disappointment that some Chin individuals were participating in the regime’s upcoming sham elections, which he believes will not bring about a federal democracy. He encouraged attendees to obey the laws of their host country, avoid illegal drugs and other unlawful activities, and contribute positively to their communities.
