The Chin Research Centre was established through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by the Institute of Chin Affairs Inc. and Mizoram University on April
ICA’s research has been focused on human rights, humanitarian, federalism, and displacement issues in Chin State and surrounding areas, producing different reports for interested parties.
The ICA started a Research Fellowship Program at Chin Research Center in Mizoram University, India, in 2022 under its MoU with the University. The CRC has also been conducting training and webinars on human rights, federalism, displacement, research skills, and journalism.
